What’s Up Missoula: Tuesday, April 4th
Tuesday Morning Meditation – 8:00 AM – 102 McLeod at South Higgins
It’s a guided Buddhist meditation & teaching to start the day. This event takes place every Tuesday.
Y Family Fun Time – 9:00 AM – Missoula Family YMCA
They believe that families need a place to play together. Family Fun Time at the Y includes fun activities for the kids and comfortable seats for the adults. Activities include bounce houses, scoop ball, tumbling area, bucket stilts and much more.
Tiny Tales – 10:30 AM – Missoula Public Library
This unique program is held every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 10:30 am. Babies ages birth through 3 years of age are invited to attend and must be accompanied by an adult lap. Participants will sing songs, learn finger plays, nursery rhymes and hear stories. This program is usually held downstairs in the Large Meeting Room.
Women’s Rock Camp – 5:00 PM – Zootown Arts Community Center
This camp is for adult women that have not had enough opportunities to rock! No musical experience required. Regardless of musical experience, you will receive instrument instruction in guitar, bass, keyboards, drums and vocals. You’ll form a band, write an original song and perform it at ‘Family Friendly Friday’ at the Top Hat Lounge on May 12th. This camp begins on April 4th and meets every Tuesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm through May 9th.
Picking Circle – 6:00 PM – Top Hat Lounge
Bluegrass-oriented musicians are invited to come down to the Top Hat and jam in the raised seating area in front of the sound booth! It’s all going down from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM every Tuesday. Free to all ages.
Missoula Music Showcase – 9:00 PM – The Badlander
This event features local singer and songwriters each week. Hosted by Mike Avery, with music starting at 9:00 pm. Here’s the good news, no cover!
